Saturday, October 5, 2019 Wheeler Farm, Murray UT

Habitat for Humanity is hosting their 1st Annual 5K and Fun Run! This family-friendly event will be held at Wheeler Farm. The gate opens at 7:00am and the 5K starts at 8:00am and the Fun Run starts at 8:30am. Wheeler Farm’s running track is covered with wood chips and is not suitable for strollers, bikes or scooters. Your registration fee provides a tee shirt (on a first-come, first-serve basis, no guarantee on availability of sizes after August 15th), a race medal, swag bag filled with goodies and more!

Race packets MUST be picked up the night before (Friday, October 4, 2019) from 2:00pm to 7:00pm at the Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore (1276 S 500 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84101).

Regrettably, we cannot process day-of registrations.

Time: 8:00 am for 5K and 8:30 am for Fun Run
Cost: $35 for 5K (all ages)
$25 for Fun Run (under 5 free – tee shirt may be purchased)

Deadline: Thursday August 15th (to guarantee a tee shirt), otherwise open until filled!

All funds will go directly to our “Field of Dreams EcoCommunity” fund, which helps us provide environmentally friendly, affordable housing to hard working families in need.

2020 Hammers and Hope Spring Gala

2020 Spring Gala will be held on March 21, 2020, at 6:00pm. Proceeds will go towards our next home build.

  • Location: The Union Event Center (formerly known as The Rail) 235 North 500 West, SLC
  • Dress Code: From Denim to Diamonds (and anywhere in between)

Tickets include libations (beer and wine; guests must be 21), appetizers, dinner, festivities and auction.

The price of admission to the dinner and auction is $175 per person, and proceeds will go directly toward the Field of Dreams Eco-Community. The Field of Dreams is 20 energy-efficient homes built on a renovated, abandoned baseball field in Kearns. The fundraiser is critical to SLVHFH’s ability to continue building and maintaining homes for qualifying families in the Salt Lake area.
