Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity provides opportunities for organizations and thousands of individuals to take action in the fight against substandard housing. Working together to help people become successful homeowners creates stability in the community.

You choose how you want to be involved.

opportunities available for groups and individuals:

We schedule individuals and groups all year long. There is a wide range of opportunities available for groups and individuals:

Construction Volunteers are essential for helping the Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity achieve its mission. Those who participate in the construction of a home help to provide the opportunity for a family in need to have a decent and affordable place to call home.
The Corporate Team Building Program is a way for groups to take a day out of the office to work together as a team. The group will work on communication, cooperation, and collaboration on various construction projects. No construction skills or tools are required.
If your social group, organization, school, or church group is interested in doing rewarding work, consider a day at a Habitat construction site. We schedule groups year round with winter work being done inside the home. All tools and supplies are provided.
Volunteers are invaluable at Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, a home improvement thrift store. They help clean, organize, and arrange items in the ReStore. Income generated from our ReStore is designated for increasing our building capacity and enhancing the community's reserve.
Volunteer photographers help Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity document work that is done by our volunteers every day. We are looking for amateur or professional photographers, someone who loves taking photos.
These volunteer opportunities range from helping out with our Kids Korner Events to our Parking Lot Sales to our annual Spring Gala. If you are interested, please contact us!
