Stock Donations:
Stock donations are tax wise because a gift of stock generally offers a two-fold tax savings. First, you may avoid paying capital gains the increase in your stock’s value. Secondly, you may receive an income tax charitable deduction for the full market value of the stock at the time of donation.

Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity needs land on which to build Homes for Hard working families. If you own property in Salt Lake or Tooele County that you want to donate call (801) 263-0136, ext 101.
